Internships Available with Congressman David Valadao

Congressman David Valadao's Office is looking for student interns! See below for more information:

Each semester, I have the honor of selecting high school and college students from across California's 21st Congressional District to intern in one of my three Congressional offices.

Whether it be out of an educational interest in the legislative branch of government, or in search of professional experience, I encourage those interested to apply for this excellent opportunity.

Interns in my Hanford and Bakersfield offices are responsible for providing assistance with constituent calls and internal database management. Interns will also have the opportunity to work on research and a variety of writing projects, accompany staff in meetings, and attend community events.

Interns in my Washington, D.C. office assist with general office tasks, attend briefings and hearings on behalf of senior staff, organize incoming constituent mail, provide Capitol tours to visitors, and a multitude of other tasks.

To learn more about my Congressional Internship program you may contact my office or visit my website <> . Those interested in applying for the program should contact Dixie Lobmeyer by phone at (559) 582-5526 or by email.
