Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill at WHCC/WHCL: October 19 at 10:19 a.m.

​Are you prepared for an earthquake? On Thursday, October 19 at 10:19 a.m. West Hills College Lemoore and West Hills College Coalinga will be joining thousands of organizations, businesses and individuals across the state of California in participating in the Great California ShakeOut Earthquake Drill. 

The Great ShakeOut is an annual opportunity to practice what to do during earthquakes and improve preparedness. "Drop, cover and hold on" procedure will be practiced and other earthquake response procedures will be enacted throughout the campus. So get ready to shake out!

Coalinga Forklift Certification

The Westside Institute of Technology (WIT) in collaboration with Coalinga Huron Unified School District will be offering FREE Forklift Training courses.

The courses will be delivered at the West Hills College Farm of the Future. The first course is this weekend October 21st and 22nd, so call to sign up now!

Free Residential Electrical Course in Hanford

The Westside Institute of Technology (WIT) in collaboration with Crossroads Charter Academy is offering a FREE Residential Electrical Course.


This course begins October 23rd and is being offered in the evenings from 5:30pm to 9:30pm


The location for the course is Crossroads Charter Academy – 418 W. 8th St - Hanford.

Register Now for the WHCC FFA Field Day

West Hills College Coalinga's Farm of the Future will host a Future Farmers of America (FFA) field day on Nov. 4, featuring four different competitions, with registration ongoing until Oct. 27.

The field day will include competition in the agricultural welding, farm power, land judging and best informed greenhand career development events. Field days allow FFA members to prepare for the upcoming state finals for these contests.

Field day registration is available online at Registration for the AgriScience session will be on first come, first serve basis the morning of Field Day.

​Our Farm of the Future's Annual Harvest Festival is October 27 and 28! Come buy a pumpkin or run the corn maze.

Run the corn maze for just 50 cents per person or free for 5 and under! Buy a small pumpkin for just $2, a medium for $5 or a large for $10 and up. Pumpkins are limited so hurry out!
